What is eleuthero root?
Formally known as Siberian ginseng, eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) is a slow-growing, deciduous shrub native to Asia and found growing today throughout China, Japan, Korea and Russia.
In traditional herbal practices, the plant’s root is dried and ground into a powder to make tea or supplements. Eleuthero is considered an adaptogen.
