Strontium is a key mineral which naturally occurs in the bones, but only recently has its amazing benefits in helping the body promote strong, healthy bones been documented.* Stron BONE contains the same amount of elemental strontium as shown effective in recent research.1,2 In addition, a balanced blend of supportive bone-development nutrients are included along with glucosamine, MSM, and hyaluronic acid to provide the body with supplementary assistance to healthy joints.*
Powerful Ingredients
- Strontium
- Large constituent of bones, helps the body increase bone mass density.*
- Vitamin D-3
- Aids in maintaining the plasma calcium concentration of the blood.*
- Vitamin E
- May help support the health of osteoblasts and osteocytes.*
- Vitamin K-2
- Helps the body utilize calcium and activate proteins that work to mineralize bones.*
- Magnesium
- Helps the body promote the strength of the bone tissue matrix.*
- Potassium
- Helps the body buffer acids which can result in higher bone mineral densities.*
The Stron Bone Impact
It means the ability to absorb more impact. In a study posted in the New England Journal of Medicine, a dose of 680mg of strontium ranelate (the same amount of elemental strontium as found in Stron BONE) demonstrated support for bone tissue health.1 Another study demonstrated support for bone density when taken as part of a regimen that included calcium.2* Whether you are a fighter looking to build hands of steel, an enthusiast of any adventure sport, or simply want to support strong bones and smooth joints, Stron BONE is a one stop revolution for your skeletal system.*
Strontium, the forgotten mineral
Strontium is a natural constituent of certain whole grains and fish and has chemical properties most similar to calcium. There is generally a limited abundance of strontium in processed foods.3 Though the use of strontium as a recommended dietary supplement dates back to 1890, recent double-blinded, placebo-controlled studies have demonstrated its bone supporting properties. How does it work? Strontium may positively promote pre-osteoblast replication, increasing the number of cells that eventually execute the role of bone-forming processes. Simultaneously, strontium can inhibit the differentiation of osteoclasts, the bone cells that break down bone tissue in order to increase blood calcium concentration. Lastly, strontium supplementation can help the body increase collagen synthesis that cannot be replicated with calcium supplementation alone.*
The stron bone joint venture
Maintaining healthy connective tissue between bones is imperative for athletic performance. Stron BONE combines three well studied natural compounds targeted at the joints. N-acetyl D-glucosamine acts by stimulating the metabolism of chondrocytes within synovial tissue.4* Methysulfonlymenthane (MSM) is another naturally derived compound that is present in high concentrations in skin, hair, and connective tissue. A 2011 study supplemented subjects with issues relating to the knee and found support for physical function after 12 weeks.5* Lastly, hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polysaccharide present in skin, eyes, and joints and highly-concentrated in soft connective tissue. It plays a diverse role mediating key cellular processes, including the recovery of tissue, cell signaling and construction of the extracellular matrix.*6

STRON BONE MAY HELP THE BODY PROMOTE
HEALTHY BONE MASS AND SKELETAL INTEGRITY*
The human skeletal structure is often perceived as a slowly changing foundation for the rest of the body to be built upon. Yet, like every other tissue in the body, bones are in a constant state of flux and are actively growing and exchanging nutrients with their surroundings. Besides serving as the framework for the body, bone tissue plays an important role in maintaining homeostasis. Bone tissue can dictate the concentration of calcium and other minerals in the blood, affecting a wide variety of important bodily functions. Adequate nutritional intake is essential for maintaining skeletal integrity, and supplementation of known bone-forming compounds has been suggested to support bone mass density (BMD) and mineralization of bone tissue. Stron BONE promotes a healthy skeletal structure by including necessary vitamins and minerals as well as incorporating well-researched compounds that target the bone strengthening process.*
Bone Health for all ages
Age and gender are known factors for low BMD. Post-menopausal women represent the highest risk group for developing thinner bones. However, smoking, alcohol, diet, and family history all have been implicated as risk factors [1]. Though exercise has been shown to increase bone mass density, some types of exercise place prolonged stress on the skeletal system. Healthy diet and essential supplements can combat these risk factors and over time can even support the density of bone tissue[2].*
Stron BONE is recommended to be taken with at minimum RDA levels of calcium, and includes three vitamins that work synergistically to help regulate bone metabolism. A systematic review in 1990 showed that supplemental calcium was beneficial to bone health at all ages [3].* Two years later, a French study concluded that calcium combined with vitamin D-3 supplementation supported bone health [4].* These two supplements have been strongly recommended by physicians and nutritionists for the past decade, but recent studies have also elucidated vitamin K2 to be beneficial in this combination. A recent study compared the addition of vitamin K2 to a calcium/vitamin D supplement. The group supplemented with additional vitamin K2 had significantly higher BMD when compared to group only receiving calcium/vitamin D[5].* Lastly, vitamin E is an important fat-soluble vitamin with powerful antioxidant properties. The role of vitamin E in bone health is most likely to mitigate free radical damage to osteoblasts and osteocytes, preventing early apoptosis of these bone forming cells[6].* The combination of calcium and essential vitamins in Stron BONE represents the latest research for maintaining healthy bone mass for all ages.
Strontium Directly Promotes Bone-Forming Processes
Strontium is a natural constituent of certain whole grains and fish and has chemical properties most similar to calcium. A limited abundance of strontium in processed foods makes it challenging to ingest quantities for optimum bone health[7]. Although the use of strontium as a recommended dietary supplement dates back to 1890, a double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in the New England Journal of Medicine definitively showed its bone strengthening properties[8].* A second study expanded upon these results and showed more support for healthy bones [9].*
Supplementation for Healthy Joints
Maintaining healthy connective tissue between bones is imperative for athletic performance. Substantial pressure is placed on connective tissue and synovial fluid during exercise, making joints a susceptible point of injury. The biologically active compound N-acetyl D-glucosamine has been widely used to support bone health. N-acetyl D-glucosamine acts by stimulating the metabolism of chondrocytes within synovial tissue, preventing the degradation between bones.[10]. Methysulfonlymenthane (MSM) is another naturally derived compound that is present in high concentrations in skin, hair, and connective tissue. The effects of MSM are widespread throughout the body, yet the ingredient's value has been attributed to supporting a healthy inflammation response.* Lastly, hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polysaccharide present in skin, eyes, and joints and highly concentrated in soft connective tissue. It plays a diverse role mediating key cellular processes, including regeneration of tissue, cell signaling and construction of the extracellular matrix[12].*Hyaluronic acid can interact with signaling proteins to support a healthy inflammation response and support healthy tissue[13].* The benefits of hyaluronic acid have been demonstrated in clinical studies[14], yet the full biological benefits to this compound are still being uncovered.*
Stron Bone Provides the Foundation
The ingredients in Stron BONE have combined the essential vitamins and minerals for maintaining skeletal integrity along with newly researched and highly beneficial compounds. The importance of the healthy bones and connective tissue cannot be underestimated. Bone tissue regulates the body's calcium balance, affecting a variety of physiological functions. The coordinated and pain free movements of the body are dependent on healthy and elastic connective tissue. Stron BONE targets the foundation of bone structure with compounds known to support bone mass density.* The combination of bone and joint strengthening compounds in this formula makes Stron BONE an essential supplement for anyone conscious of the importance of their skeletal system.

(Boron Citrate, N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid)
BORON CITRATE
Boron is another trace mineral that plays an integral part in supporting healthy bones. Assisting the body in maintaining healthy levels of calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D.6—9, without adequate boron these bone—essential minerals may start to be lost through urination, one study finds.*
N-Acetyl D-Glucosamine
Glucosamine as a naturally occurring chemical that may help the body form other chemicals that make bones, joints and cartilages stronger. It is popular to help ease joint stiffness, and is widely prescribed for joint health.*
MSM
Sulfur is critical to good joint health, and MSM is thought to deliver sulfur to the body in a usable way. Sulfur helps the body maintain the structure of connective tissue by forming cross—linkages through disulfide bonds. In simpler terms, MSM may provide the sulfur that strengthens the tissues that make up the joint.*
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid is present in every tissue of the body but it is most concentrated in the synovial fluid which bathes the joints. Supplementation with HA may help the body provide cushioning in the joints and carry nutrients to nourish and replenish cartilage.*
Magnesium (Chelate) — 350 mg
Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body with approximately 50% of total body magnesium being found in bone. In addition to the myriad other health benefits, having strong magnesium levels is vital to maintaining a healthy skeletal system.†*
Vitamin D (Cholecalciferol) — 400 iu
Vitamin D3 is vital to maintaining proper blood levels of calcium and phosphorous, in addition to assisting with cardiovascular health. It is provided to the body both through sunlight and nutritional sources.*
Vitamin E (Succinate) — 100 iu
Vitamin E is an essential fat—soluble nutrient and antioxidant. Its primary function is to help the immune system however there is some evidence available that supplementing with vitamin E may support joint health.†*
Potassium (Chloride) — 80 mg
Potassium is an essential mineral that helps support strong bones partly by allowing your body to maintain its calcium stores inside your bones. When the level of metabolic acids in your body rises, your body removes calcium from your bones to combat the imbalance. Over time, this process can weaken your bones. Potassium neutralizes those excess metabolic acids, negating the need for calcium and leaving your bones intact.†*
Bioperine (Black Pepper Fruit Extract) — 5 mg
Derived from pepper, and containing high levels of piperine, this supplement is believed to have benefits in assisting the absorption of crucial nutrients. In addition, piperine may help support a healthy inflammation response.†*
Manganese (Citrate) — 2 mg
Manganese is a trace mineral that compliments calcium in helping the body to maintain proper bone health. Not a lot of manganese is needed for a healthy system, however insufficient quantities can be a detriment.†
Copper (Citrate) — 2 mg
An important trace mineral to maintaining optimal skeletal and circulatory health, copper is found in high quantities in both liver and oysters, two foods that are hardly staples on the typical diet. Copper is required by the body to produce certain enzymes, such as Superoxide Dismutase, a very powerful antioxidant. It’s also used to build various proteins, such as collagen, which the body uses in connective tissue, bones and skin.* Copper also helps the body use its stored iron, a mineral that is very important in red blood cell production.†
Vitamin K-2 (Menatetrenone) — 90 mcg
Vitamin K2, often overlooked in many formulas, has been found to play a critical role in the regulation of calcium. In nature, vitamin K is found in two forms: vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) in leafy, green vegetables, and vitamin K2 (menaquinone) in organ meats, egg yolks, and dairy products.).
