Wait a second...Coconut Flavored Protein?!?
Yeah, we were shocked and excited too. Coconut tastes incredible, and other brands that have attempted the flavor in a protein drink delivered very underwhelming flavoring. If anybody could get it right, it was the folks at Nature’s Best.
Unless you’re new to these parts, you know that their ISOPURE products are legendary for a wide range of incredibly flavored drinks with impossibly smooth texture.
The line also includes products targeted for energy, lean
protein, mass building, and even a pump product. The new drink lives up to these high standards and is truly deserving of the Nature’s Best brand name. The product keeps the simple ingredient panels that are typical of the brand, a mere 6 ingredients are included. Highly filtered water and coconut water concentrate make up the composition of the liquid in the product, with some added natural flavoring to solidify the coconut taste.
The Ingredients
The protein source is 20 grams of 100% Whey Protein Isolate, no massive blend of cheap inferior protein sources here. Whey isolate is also a great choice for a ready to drink because its solubility is significantly better than that of concentrate products so you get a smooth mixing product that doesn't settle.
But how does it taste? The Official Review
Excited upon hearing of this product release, I did one of the last things I’d ever suggest someone do when buying supplements. I drove to the local supplement store, took a few minutes to laugh at their wildly overpriced products, and then found the product in the RTD section. After giving it a few hours to chill I eagerly popped the top on the bottle and gave it a try.
This stuff is incredible. Finally a coconut protein drink done right.
