Beta-Alanine

Another research study examined the effects of creatine and beta-alanine supplementation on performance and endocrine responses in strength athletes, football players. The football players followed a 10-week resistance training program. They were divided into groups who ingested either creatine, creatine and beta-alanine or a placebo. Significant changes in lean body mass were measured in the group of football players taking creatine and beta-alanine together, football players taking either creatine or creatine and beta-alanine together experience significant increase in strength performance, and football players taking just creatine also experience an increase in testosterone levels.*

Branched-Chain Amino Acids

The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are the essential amino acids isoleucine, leucine and valine.
