Ignite Nutrition Dominate-Up Pre-Workout – 30 Servings
- Potent Pre-Workout
- Extreme Focus & Energy
- Skin Ripping Pumps
- Improved Performance
Once we decided it was time to show the industry how to do it, we wanted to create a pre-workout that would totally dominate the competition. So we created a complete, fully disclosed, generously dosed pre-workout using effective ingredients. We didn’t want to get stim happy while ignoring the pump and performance, and we knew you want a pre-workout that can drive you through your most intense training sessions with no jitters and no mid-workout crash. We also knew you demand a pre-workout that gives you what you need to get the job done, period. What pre-workout are we talking about? Dominate-Up by Ignite Nutrition! This isn’t just one more over-hyped pre-workout in an already crowded market, this redefines what a pre-workout should be.
If you’ve been searching for a pre-workout that gives you a balanced combination of the ingredients you need to conquer your training sessions, Dominate-Up is the answer. Nothing’s worse than pre-workouts that are either stim-crazy with not much else, or a lot of pump and performance with a weak stim profile. To make matters worse, many of these formulas are severely under-dosed, which means you have to double scoop it if you want results. When you’re a serious bodybuilder or athlete that needs maximum energy and performance, that doesn’t cut it. That’s not how a serious bodybuilder or athlete should have to conduct business. Ignite Nutrition understands this, that’s why we created Dominate-Up. Of course, you should expect nothing less from Ignite Nutrition.
Ingredient Profile
Pump Blend
Who doesn’t want to glance in the mirror during a tough workout and see a huge pump monster looking back? Let’s get real, for many bodybuilders and athletes, it’s all about the pump. After all, a huge, full-looking physique is what it’s all about, right? The pump isn’t merely cosmetic, and if you train for function instead of illusion, the pump provides several important benefits. First of all, the increased blood flow delivers nutrients and oxygen to the working muscles while removing waste products that build up while you train. Secondly, because we use ingredients that stimulate nitric oxide production and help increase cell volume, your muscles stay hydrated, further improving performance.
L-Citrulline – 3500 mg
Citrulline is known as one of the most effective pump ingredients you can use. Back in the day when nitric oxide boosters first hit the market, the main ingredient in all of them was L-Arginine. In fact, it was the standard for several years. Once research began to take over, several new ingredients began to hit the market, including Citrulline which soon dominated the category. We use pure Citrulline in Dominate-Up instead of the diluted Citrulline-Malic Acid combination you see in other pre-workouts, a combination that effectively reduces the ingredient that promotes the pump in the first place. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? We think so!
Here’s how Citrulline promotes great pumps: It’s one of three amino acids that are part of the Urea Cycle which is involved in, among other functions, the production of nitric oxide. In the body, Citrulline converts into Arginine and basically outperforms Arginine because it’s more bioavailable than Arginine. To put it in other terms, more bioavailability means more nitric oxide is produced which means more blood flow. Your muscles experience huge pumps, increased nutrient and oxygen delivery as well as the removal of waste products for dramatically improved performance. (1)
GlycerPump Glycerol Powder (std. 65% Glycerol) – 2000 mg
You’ve heard the term “cell volume”, it simply means pulling water into the muscles, this in turn increases muscle cell volume, or fullness, for huge pumps. There are several ingredients that do this but one of the best is Glycerol. Dominate-Up uses 2 grams of innovative GlycerPump, a superior version of Glycerol that once and for all solves the stability problem that’s associated with other forms of Glycerol. This is the most stable form of Glycerol you can use, period. To put it simply, GlycerPump works better because it absorbs better. Additionally, it will not clump and it will mix up much easier than any other form of Glycerol currently on the market. (2)
VASO-6 - 25 mg
Innovation leads to domination and Dominate-Up embraces both with one of the most exciting new ingredients to come along in a long time: VASO-6. This exciting compound is a patented oligomer derived from Green Tea extracts that are enhanced with gallic acid to increase its effectiveness. VASO-6 contains the most bioactive oligomeric compounds known to stimulate EDR (or, endothelium-dependent relaxation) which stimulates smooth muscle relaxation thereby increasing blood flow. Once in the body, VASO-6 converts into nitric oxide and increases nitric oxide production. Additionally, the increased blood flow means increased delivery of nutrients and oxygen to the working muscles for improved performance. (3)
When we talk about Domination, we mean it and it couldn’t be more evident than in our powerful Pump Blend. Dominate-Up is all about ultimate performance.
Performance Blend
A great pre-workout needs to offer more than just energy or pumps, it needs to provide effective performance. Ignite Nutrition understands this, that’s why we made sure Dominate-Up gives you everything you need to dominate every training session, every time.
Beta-Alanine – 1800 mg
This has become one of the more popular ingredients recently because of its ability to buffer lactic acid. Actually, Beta-Alanine works indirectly by increasing levels of carnosine in the muscles which in turn reduces fatigue, which means increased workout capacity. You see, carnosine occurs naturally in both type 1 and type 2 muscle fibers, but the highest concentrations are found in type 2 fibers, which are the fibers we use in high-intensity workouts. It works like this: lactic acid builds up in your muscles because of hydrogen ions that build up as you train – this is the “burn” you feel in your muscles as you near the end of your set. Of course, the burn can bring your set to a very sudden end, but by increasing levels of carnosine, Beta-Alanine buffers lactic acid, thereby allowing you to continue your reps and sets longer than you thought possible.
Clinical studies indicate that by buffering acid buildup in the working muscles, Beta-Alanine slows the buildup of fatigue which increases muscular endurance, improves strength, and improves power output. (4)
L-Taurine – 1000 mg
While it’s typically referred to as an amino acid, Taurine is technically an organic acid. What’s the difference? An amino acid contains a carboxyl group plus an amino group, while an organic acid like Taurine contains a sulfonic group plus an amino group. You’ll find Taurine in energy drinks and pre-workouts because Taurine works synergistically with Caffeine to promote energy and focus.
You’ll also find Taurine in pump-based pre-workouts because it has benefits similar to Creatine, thanks to its ability to pull water into the muscle cells which in turn increases muscle cell volume. Additionally, Taurine helps increase nutrient delivery to the working muscles. As you can see, this is a key ingredient with several important benefits. (5)
Creatine Anhydrous – 1000 mg
Creatine Citrate – 500 mg
Creatine MagnaPower - 500 mg
Despite the fact that Creatine is the most tested and proven-effective supplement on the market, you won’t find it in very many pre-workouts. If anything many companies brag about this and advertise it as well. This makes little sense and guesses what – they’re dead wrong! The truth is that Creatine is a critical ingredient that promotes increased endurance, improved strength, muscle growth, and muscle cell hydration (or, volume). In fact, it’s the original cell volumizer and it’s time this proven ingredient is featured in an innovative pre-workout. We use three different forms of Creatine for optimal absorption because if you want to get the most from it you have to be able to absorb it. Dominate-Up is all about dominating your training sessions as well as dominating the pre-workout category, so of course, we made sure to include this powerful ingredient. Now that’s domination! (6,7,8)
L-Tyrosine – 500 mg
Tyrosine works with the Caffeine Blend in Dominate-Up to improve focus and alertness and is a popular non-essential amino acid that has a key role in the manufacture of the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine. Increased levels of these neurotransmitters mean mood elevation as well as an enhanced focus while at the same time reducing anxiety and stress. (9)
Ribose – 250 mg
If there’s a unique ingredient that you don’t usually see in a pre-workout, Ribose is it. So what is it? Ribose is a sugar-like substance that’s used by the body for the production of ATP molecules, for this reason, Ribose directly contributes to energy production as an energy substrate.
It works like this: when you train, ATP is used to provide muscular energy and must be replaced as it is used up quickly. Ribose is the primary substance used as the starting point to replace ATP, and as ATP is replenished you can keep training. The problem is, however, that Ribose production is a slow process which means production can’t always keep up with ATP use during your intense training sessions. Therefore, consuming Ribose in supplement form can bypass slow production and result in quicker ATP replenishment for improved endurance and performance. (10)
Focus Blend
Choline Bitartrate – 500 mg
Choline is part of the process of phospholipid synthesis, this supports a cell’s structural integrity and its signaling functions. Also, Choline is a precursor to acetylcholine synthesis, acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that supports mood, memory, and the all-important mind-muscle connection. In fact, the fabled mind-muscle connection doesn’t just apply to bodybuilding, it applies to every sport. The connection you create with your working muscles during your training sessions is the difference between having a great session or just going through the motions. (11, 12)
Alpha GPC (50%) – 50 mg
Alpha GPC is comprised largely of Choline and is found naturally in the brain. The Choline that’s found in Alpha GPC is used to help produce acetylcholine while the glycerol/phosphate that’s also in Alpha GPC supports phospholipid production, which is used to help form cell membranes.
Alpha GPC is considered one of the best types of Choline on the market because of its superior absorption. It provides the same benefits as other versions currently available and it works with Choline Bitartrate to help create a powerful mind-muscle connection. (13)
Toothed Clubmoss (std. to 1% Huperzine A) - .05 mg
Huperzine A is a focus enhancer that indirectly increases acetylcholine levels by inhibiting an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase. This is important because this enzyme controls the breakdown of acetylcholine. By inhibiting this enzyme, more acetylcholine becomes available which in turn means improved focus. Additionally, it acts as a neuroprotector by protecting the brain against destructive molecules such as glutamate. (14)
Stim Blend – 460 mg (Total Caffeine 300 mg) - Caffeine Anhydrous, Theobromine, Hordenine HCL, N-Methyltyramine HCL, Infinergy Dicaffeine Malate, Caffeine Citrate.
It goes without saying that Caffeine is the most popular stimulant available. Let’s face it, if you want more energy, focus, and alertness, you want Caffeine. Our exclusive Stim Blend avoids the jitters and mid-workout crash that are so common with those other pre-workouts. The Dominate-Up Stim Blend supplies 300 mg of total Caffeine, this is from Caffeine Anhydrous, Infinergy Di-Caffeine Malate, and Caffeine Citrate. These are superior forms of Caffeine with excellent bioavailability and extended effects.
We’ve also included Theobromine to help smooth out the Caffeine as well as help extend its effects. What is Theobromine? It’s commonly found in the cocoa plant and promotes a “feel-good” sensation and supplies a mild stimulant effect. (15)
Next is Hordenine, a beta-2 adrenergic agonist which means it stimulates the body’s “flight or fight” response by increasing the production of adrenaline and noradrenaline. Additionally, Hordenine is a noradrenaline reuptake modulator, which extends the effects of noradrenaline in the body for sustained energy, focus, and alertness. (16)
Similar to Hordenine, N-Methyltyramine (or, NMT) is also a mild beta-2 agonist. Research has suggested that NMT has 1/140th the potency of adrenaline, which can help increase that initial burst of energy you’ll experience from the advanced Dominate-Up Stim Blend. (17)
When it gets down to it, whether it’s in the gym, on the field, or wherever your sport takes place, ultimate performance is what it’s all about if you’re a serious bodybuilder or athlete. If you want to dominate your workouts or your chosen sport, you need every advantage you can find. Let’s get real, it begins and ends with how effective your training (and your nutritional) program is. Don’t shortchange your training sessions with poor quality, incomplete pre-workout when you can optimize your training sessions with Dominate-Up by Ignite Nutrition – the Definition of Ultimate Performance!
