Alpha Lipoic Acid Side Effects:
Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) seems to have minimal side effects, but some people have had it. The first study shows that it was well-tolerated by patients of type-2 diabetes: Treatment with ALA using a well-tolerated oral dose of 800 mg/day for 4 months may slightly improve Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy. However, another study had one person get gastrointestinal issues from ALA: Only one patient pertaining to the group treated with ALA abandoned because of adverse gastrointestinal side effects.
Is Alpha Lipoic Acid safe?
ALA seems "well-tolerated", but we do not recommend it unless you have type-2 diabetes or until we see studies proving it as an antioxidant.PricePlow and ClutchWave LLC take no responsibility for the statements and links on this page.
