Whey Protein Isolate Dosage

Many bodybuilders take whey protein isolate shakes an hour prior to working out. Immediately post-workout, carbohydrates and amino acids are recommended, followed by another whey shake 20-30 minutes later.

As mentioned in the Protein Research Studies, 1g of protein per lb of lean body weight to 1.5g of protein per lb of lean body weight should be ingested each day. Spread the servings throughout the day.

You can mix your protein powders with milk or water (or even juice + vanilla whey protein), depending on what fits your dietary plan. Water will require less liquid and you can mix the amount to suit your preferred texture (start with the label's instruction and adjust from there).
