Our calamari (squid) comes from the Northern Shortfin (llex Illecebrosus) fishery, which ranges from Maine to Virginia.
It’s one of only two squid fisheries certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). The squid are harvested using an “otter trawl”, which results in very little unintended capture of other seafood species or “by-catch”.
