Overdoses are rare but can cause blurred or double vision, coma, dizziness or fainting, severe drowsiness, increased or decreased urination, slow heartbeat, troubled breathing.

Some bodybuilders have also reported getting acne from ZMA.

Is ZMA safe?

When taking the proper dosage, ZMA is safe. However, overdose of any of the ingredients can cause major issues, so take a look at your diet and multivitamin nutritional data. Overall, your money is better spent on the basics: protein, creatine, and amino acids.
