Fish Oil from Optimum Nutrition

What is Fish Oil?

Fish oils are omega-3 fatty acids that contain both docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).

Fish Oil Studies show that these two acids (DHA and EPA) are the components of fish oils that do great things for the body - including lowering triglycerides, slowing hardening of the arteries, lowering blood pressure, and reducing risk of death, heart attack, dangerous abnormal heart rhythms, and strokes in people with heart disease.

Just like anything else, however, too much of a good thing is bad, and high doses may have harmful effects, such as an increased risk of bleeding.
