Beta Alanine Dosage
Recommended dosage for Beta Alanine:
If you are an endurance athlete (runner, swimmer, triathlete), we do recommend experimenting with beta-alanine for a month. The study mentioned in the beta-alanine side effects page showed that a great starting point is 10mg per 1kg of bodyweight (4.54mg per pound of bodyweight) before and after exercise. If you don't feel the tingles, feel free to work up towards 40mg per 1kg of bodyweight (18.18mg per pound of bodyweight).
Note that doubling your beta-alanine dosage will not double your carnosine levels, nor will it double your endurance. You must find the threshold that works best for your body and wallet.
